Our goal at Macon County Eye Center is to provide the best in eye care to individuals of Decatur, Illinois and the surrounding Macon County area. We strive to offer only the best by constantly updating our knowledge base and surgical techniques to keep up with the rapid advances in eye care.

Our Ophthalmologists, Dr. Sushant Sinha, Dr. Gary Gillham and Dr. Christine Warchol, diagnose and treat problems of the eye such as cataracts, glaucoma and retinal diseases. These eye specialists are completely knowledgeable in both medical and surgical treatments. They are skilled in delicate eye surgeries such as advanced micro-incision cataract surgery, new multifocal and toric cataract implant lenses, medical and cosmetic BOTOX treatments, corneal transplants, diabetic retinopathy, cosmetic eyelid surgery and retinal surgery.   Using modern laser technology, they utilize the YAG laser to treat secondary cataracts, which sometimes cloud vision following cataract surgery, and the Argon and SLT lasers to treat glaucoma. Macon County Eye Center and Dr. Sushant Sinha were also the first to offer Lasik/Corrective vision surgery in Macon County.

Our Optometrist, Dr. David Morget, offers contact lens fittings (including bifocal, monovision, gas-permeable, extended-wear, RGP and hard contact lenses), safety glasses, and designer and value priced eyewear for adults and children. Using the latest technology and state-of-the-art testing instruments, our optometrist offers comprehensive exams, including cataract and glaucoma screenings, disease detection, field of vision, color vision and muscle imbalance. Our on-site lens lab allows us to provide the highest quality lenses quickly and conveniently for our patients.
