History

The Macon County Eye Center was opened in March 1996. The goal of this clinic was to provide one location for patients of all ages where they might receive Ophthalmology services for their medical eye care needs and Optometric services for vision correction with glasses or contacts.  The Advanced Eye Surgery and Laser Center was opened in 2007 as an additional convenience for patients as well as a means to provide quality, efficient and cost effective eye surgical services to the patients of Macon County Eye Center.

Dr. Sushant Sinha is the Medical Director of both facilities. The clinic offers a staff of board certified Ophthalmologists and Optometrists who provide comprehensive eye examinations for all ages. Our staff is comprised of certified Ophthalmic Assistants and Opticians who assist the Physicians and patients.
