The optical department at Macon County Eye Center offers a full range of optical services - glasses, contact lenses, sunglasses, safety glasses and optical supplies. We specialize in difficult contact lens fittings and offer soft, hard, gas permeable, toric, monovision and bifocal contacts.

Designer, as well as value priced frames, are our specialty. We carry women’s, men’s and children’s frames. Some of the designer women’s frames available include: Elle, Marchon, Cazal, Laura Ashley, Coach, Flexon, Bebe, Nicole Miller, Liz Claiborne, Kate Spade, Candies, Elle, Michael Kors, Nine West, and Valentino. Men’s designer frames include: Tommy Hilfiger, HUMMER, Harley Davidson, Flexon, Stetson, Safilo, Jaguar, Nike, Lacoste, Police, and Scott Harris. Our children’s frames include: Adidas, Disney, Flexon Kids, X Games, Power Rangers, Silhouette, and Espirit. Nonprescription sunglasses are available for purchase or we can make prescription sunwear in any frame you choose. We have the following nonprescription sunwear available: Nike, Adidas, and many other styles.

Our on-site lens lab allows us to provide our patients with the highest quality lenses, quickly for the convenience of our patients.

Our Opticians have had extensive training and are certified by the American Board of Optometry. The Opticians can assist you in selecting lenses, frames, and contacts and offer contact lens instruction.
